What is the purpose of this site?

Now that I have established my own blog and joined the digital conversation, I need to decide what exactly I want to comment on here.  Since I am currently not working in the public school setting, my focus has changed and I am not sure where to begin.  I am now a full time doctoral student working on my dissertation.  My research interests include English language learners, teacher efficacy, and language attitudes.  I am trying to narrow down my research questions for my dissertation research and will probably use this site as a forum for thinking and reflecting on that topic.  So, if anyone accesses this site and has something to add that might inform my efforts, I would love to hear from you.

I Have Arrived!

What an exciting day today is! I have created my first blog. Hello digital world, here I am! I look forward to using this site as a way of not only communicating with others, but to “externalize” (Miguel’s new big word/concept I learned today) my knowledge. Additionally, it will serve as a personal journal to assist in reflection on my journey through life.
